A sacred space for grief, transition
and remembering
Navigating grief and mortality with greater honesty, self-trust, cultural dignity and communal support.

Welcome, I'm Jas
I believe that facing death, consciously, helps us live more courageous lives.
We all die many times before our body physically does. To relationships, identities, beliefs, versions of ourselves, to dreams that never come to fruition. Death is as natural as life is, and the reality that we are not always in control of when, how and why things end continues to cause most of us to avoid talking about, and being present with the gift that death carries: that this life is finite and fleeting. That it is uniquely singular to each individual perspective. Precious. Sacred and worthy of celebration. My work is to assist individuals and their loved ones in getting real about death (in all its forms), so that we can ultimately live better, truer, and more present lives.
As a culturally responsive, trauma-informed death doula, my work weaves within the realms of:
-
Death and Dying
-
Grief and Trauma Integration
-
Spirituality, Religion and Faith
-
Race, Sexuality and Identity
-
Ritual, Ceremony & Tradition
